Why Wandir
Travel and outdoor life are inherently social — but finding the right people to share them with is surprisingly hard. Social media is noisy, forums are scattered, and most “meeting” apps focus on who you are rather than what you want to do.
Wandir flips the model. Instead of scrolling through posts or swiping through profiles, you browse real plans — hikes, meetups, convoys, road trips, climbing sessions — happening near you or wherever you're headed. If you don't find what you're looking for, you can create your own plan and let others find you.

Search by location, time, and topic to find events, meetups, and adventures that match your interests. If you don't find what you're looking for, you can create your own plan and let others find you.
Connect with others
Found something great? Like the plan and the owner will be notified to review. Have your own idea? Post a plan and let others find you. You can confirm that you want to connect after reviewing the other person's message and profile. Once matched, you can use chat to determine if you want to connect in real life

Meet the founder
Ken Ono
Ken founded Wandir because he kept running into the same problem: having no easy way to find people who wanted to do the same things. So he built an app that works.
With over 30 years of experience shipping software — from startups to enterprises — Ken brings deep technical leadership as a Fractional CTO and architect. He splits his time between building Wandir, many other projects and cycling around the world.
